HYDRA Factory Self Destruct Clock Timer

1016149

SOLD!

A self destruct timer used in the Marvel action movie Captain America: The First Avenger. Scrawny Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is rejected for military service as the United States marches to war against the Japanese and Germans. Given entry by Dr Abraham Erskine (Stanley Tucci), Rogers enlists as part of a “super soldier” experiment, eventually becoming the famous Captain America.

This clock timer can be seen during the rescue of the American soldiers, taken by the ‘HYDRA’ for experimenting. This prop was used to show the time in which the ‘HYDRA’ base would self destruct. Made of black plastic with mechanical parts, and a functioning timer with lights inside and custom panels with german text on them. There are other buttons and switches on the device all fully functioning to either speed up, stop or turn certain lights on and off. Despite the switches activating certain lights or servo motors, we don't guarantee its functionality as a real counter, and it's sold as a prop part only.

This prop is predominantly made from plastic, painted silver to match the aluminium plates on the control face of the deivice. In very good production-used condition, with only minor wear from its time in use on set, the dial measures 21.5cm x 20cm x 11cm (8.5“ x 7.75” x 4.5”).
