The box (alone) was used since the early seasons in the Ted's apartment and later (with the ball) in the Lily's (Alyson Hannigan) and Marshall's (Jason Segel) two apartments. Very visible and always sharing the camera with the gang as this element was often used to balance the frame composition during the filming. The yellow ball, made of what appears to be resin, measures approximately 3 inches in diameter and is in fair condition. The green storage box, made of cardboard with a fabric lining, measures approximately 11 by 8.5 inches and is in fair condition. Both are one of a kind pieces of a set decoration of the show.
